Why take donations?

Over the past few years, I've been looking for reliable work while taking commissions to pay for my bills and living expenses. This money is rarely enough to support me from one month to the next, so I've added a donation option to help close that gap. Donated money helps me pay for the cost of running my sites as well as my everyday living expenses. There have been many months where I would not have been able to pay my bills if I hadn't had the public's generous gifts.
